Kali mirch wala pulao


Ingredients
  • Mutton ½ kg boiled till nearly done
  • Rice ½ kg soaked for 30 minutes
  • Peas ½ cup
  • Oil ¾ cup
  • White cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Black pepper whole 12
  • Black cardamom 3
  • Cinnamon 2 inch piece
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Brown onion ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt 3 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Allspice 2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 ½ cup
Method
  • Heat oil add cumin seeds and whole mix spices add ginger garlic paste with boiled mutton, brown onion, cook for 5 minutes add in salt, pepper, allspice, yogurt, fry for 10 minutes, cover and cook for 10 minutes add 4 cups water, add rice, cover and cook till rice done and water has been absorbed, leave it on dum for 10 minutes, serve hot with kachomber and raita.
